Haryana . Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini appreciated the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He said that this budget has been prepared keeping development, new opportunities for the youth, women empowerment and welfare of the poor at the center. According to him, this budget has also brought many new possibilities and benefits for Haryana. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude for the Prime Minister changing the name of Adampur Airport to Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Airport. He said that this decision is a matter of pride for countless people across the country and will honor the thoughts and contributions of the great saint Guru Ravidas Maharaj. Naib Singh Saini further said that recently the airport built at Ayodhya Dham, which is the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, has been named after Maharishi Valmiki. Along with this, the airport built in Hisar, Haryana has been named Maharaja Agrasen Airport. He said that such decisions will provide an opportunity to the coming generations to become familiar with the teachings and legacy of these great personalities.
Taking a dig at the Congress regarding the budget, the Chief Minister said that what Prime Minister Modi has given to Haryana this time is beyond even the dreams of the Congress. He said that Congress remained in power for 55 years, but it is not easy to compare the work that the Modi government is doing today. According to him, the Prime Minister has special love for the people of Haryana and only under his leadership Haryana will become a developed state.
The Chief Minister claimed that the farmers and youth of Haryana are going to get the most benefit from this budget. He said that Congress has not understood this budget and sarcastically suggested that Congress leaders should take ‘counselling’ to understand the budget and should react only after understanding it completely.
Commenting on Congress, Naib Singh Saini said that the party is divided into internal factions. He said that many leaders posted their reactions on social media even before the entire budget speech of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was over.
