Haryana Congress State President Rao Narendra Singh has made serious allegations against the BJP government and said that in the state assembly elections, 95 percent voting took place at 155 booths, due to which serious questions have been raised on the electoral process. He said Rahul Gandhi is the only person who is fighting against today’s “dictators and dictators” across the country.
Appealing to the Congress workers to take Rahul Gandhi’s message to every home, he said that this is not the fight of just one party, but the fight of all religions and the entire democracy. Rao Narendra Singh said that BJP has formed the government by stealing votes, and now this issue is being discussed everywhere. “What could be more disgusting and shameful for democracy than this?”
MLA Gokul Setia said that the Congress party is one and there is no division in the party. Condemning the use of black paint on the posters, he said, “Some of my colleagues showed courage and used black paint on the posters, but doing so at night is wrong. These are not the values of the Congress. We are people working on the ground and we should not lose courage. The target of some parties is not the BJP but the Congress.”
Kalavali MLA Sheeshpal Keharwala said that Congress is ready to prove transparency in the elections. He said, “We are ready to give evidence. There are 23 votes at each booth. The Election Commission should say that this is not a voter list. People voted for us because of our work. They want to bring down the Congress stronghold in Sirsa, but you all will not let it fall.”
Ellenabad MLA Bharat Singh Beniwal while targeting BJP said that Congress will not break under any circumstances. He said, why would BJP interfere? If we did not allow Chautala to build a wall, then how can we remove BJP? His government will not last long. Surjewala, Hooda and Shailja are not on the poster; It is the fault of the one who put up or got the poster made. Don’t say such things. Congress party should remain united, no one can weaken us.
Senior Congress leader Kumari Shailaja attacked the central and state governments in a meeting held in Sirsa on Thursday. He made it clear that the Congress party will never support those who try to weaken democracy, but will strongly oppose it. Shailaja said that Congress workers are not afraid of struggle, whether it means traveling or going to jail, the fight will continue on every front.
Shailaja said that Lok Dal and BJP were together from the beginning and are not separate even today, hence there is no need to mislead. Taking aim at the Central and Haryana governments, he said, “Government portals are less open and more closed. This is unfair to the public.”
The drug situation in Sirsa is serious, and the government has proved incompetent.
Expressing concern over the increasing problem of drugs in Sirsa, Shailaja said that Rao Saheb has also seen the terrible situation of misuse of drugs here. Despite repeated talks about taking action, no solution was found, which is a failure of the government. He said the youth of the state were being ruined by the use of drugs, and many had lost their lives in their quest to go abroad.
Why is the Election Commission silent?
Kumari Shailaja also raised questions on the Election Commission. He said that as the opposition, Congress has the right to raise questions. Why is the Election Commission silent? BLOs are committing suicide. Why has this situation arisen?
