New Delhi . Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda on Friday described the neighborhood policy as important for India in a special conversation with . He said that he has felt home in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Foreign policy should be focused on the first neighborhood.
Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda advocated the ‘neighborhood policy’ in a special conversation with . He said, “Our foreign policy should be focused on the first neighborhood. Can we strengthen relations with neighbors? I have gone to Pakistan and felt like a home.
On the allegation of ‘vote theft’, Sam Pitroda said, “Rahul Gandhi has told in his press conference that what is happening and leaders like us have been speaking for years that there is something wrong in EVMs. Now Rahul Gandhi has raised his voice against it and we all have to support them.”
Emphasizing the importance of the election, Pitroda said, “Elections affect more generations than the elders like us. Rahul Gandhi’s words are true, but they cannot fight alone. They speak, but others are silent. If we believe, we should join hands and raise voice.
He supported Rahul Gandhi’s statement appealing to Jane-G to save democracy and said, “I request the youth of India to add their voice to Rahul Gandhi’s only voice.”
Pitroda praised Rahul Gandhi and described him as ‘shiny, energetic youth’. He said that BJP and other parties present them incorrectly. Rahul Gandhi is very educated, he believes in India and believes in the future of our younger generation. After all, people are beginning to understand that Rahul Gandhi is the right future leader. Today there is a need for a global leader whose moral base is strong.
On the question of Hindonberg’s report being rejected by SEBI, Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda said, “Institutions and judiciary have been captured. Civil society has its own interests. Now very little freedom is left. There is a threat to democracy.”
On linking the BJP to George Soros, Pitroda said, “I have never met George Soros. There is no evidence. Soros works for its interests and the Congress party works for itself. All this is a lie. All about lies are done only about lies.”
Sam Pitroda also rejected the BJP’s claim, which said that PM Modi has changed India’s foreign policy. He said, “This is all nonsense and Indian propaganda. We are not a world guru. If I ask our neighbors, they do not know anything about PM Modi or India. They are entangled in their problems. This myth that India is in everyone’s mind, is wrong. India’s coverage economy, population and opportunities in international newspapers are limited to the conflict of the world guru.
