A painful and serious accident shocked the entire area on Thursday evening in Jharinda village of Mokalwas area of Neemkathana district of Rajasthan. Due to a sudden massive landslide in a crusher mine located here, a large part of the mountain fell down. This incident created an atmosphere of chaos among the workers working in the mine.
During the accident, a total of four laborers working in the mine got buried under heavy stones and debris of machines. The incident happened so suddenly that the workers did not even get a chance to recover. Other workers and employees present on the spot immediately started relief work and informed the administration.
Due to the promptness of local people and mine employees, three laborers were taken out safely in time. He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, where his condition is currently said to be stable. According to doctors, these laborers suffered serious injuries, but due to timely relief, major damage was averted.
However, one worker is still trapped under the debris inside the mine. It is being told that he has been under pressure continuously for the last 12 hours, due to which the concern about his condition has increased. The relief and rescue team is continuously trying to get him out safely.
As soon as Friday morning arrived, the administration intensified the rescue operation. Teams of district administration, police, civil defense and disaster management have been deployed on the spot. The work of removing debris is continuing on a war footing with the help of heavy machines. The administration says that every possible effort is being made so that the trapped laborers can be taken out safely.
According to local officials, the cause of landslide in the mine area is also being investigated. Initially it is believed that this accident occurred due to slipping of unstable rocks during mining work, although its official confirmation will be made only after investigation.
After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. The relatives of the workers are maintaining constant contact between the incident site and the hospital and are hoping for the safe return of their loved ones.
The administration has appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and cooperate in relief work. Officials have assured that the rescue operation is being given top priority and efforts will continue to rescue the trapped laborers as soon as possible.
