Dausa. The cyber cell of the police has arrested Ramsundar alias Bittu, an accused of murder carrying a reward of Rs 15,000, who was absconding for 10 months. In the month of February, a youth from Uttar Pradesh was murdered due to a love affair and his body was thrown on the Jaipur Road link of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Cyber cell in-charge Premnarayan Sharma said that on February 10, information was received that the body of an unknown person was lying near Zero Point on Link Road, Dwarpura. To identify the deceased, photographs and advertisements were released in many states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar. In this blind murder case, the police had arrested one accused from Ghaziabad 10 days after the incident, while the other accused Ramsundar alias Bittu was continuously absconding. A reward of Rs 15 thousand was announced on him by the SP. The police team was keeping an eye on the activities of the accused for the last several months. The accused kept changing locations in Noida, Delhi and Ghaziabad after breaking contact with his relatives. On December 7, on the basis of concrete information received from the technical analysis of Constable Dashrath Singh, the accused Ramsundar alias Bittu (resident of Sadipur, District Azamgarh, UP; resident of Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad) was detained from Ghaziabad.
The police team was successful in arresting the accused and he was handed over to Colva police station.
