Jaipur . On the occasion of World Dance Day, a grand dance presentation was successfully organized in the Rangayan Auditorium under the joint aegis of Jawahar Kala Kendra and Jaipur Kathak Centre. The event took place at the Rangayan Auditorium, with a large number of spectators in attendance.
In this special presentation, an attractive mand-fusion of Kathak dance and folk dance was presented. In the program, students of Vimukti NGO and all the students of Jaipur Kathak Center displayed their talent excellently. The choreography of this presentation was done by Chetan Kumar Jawada and Simran Aggarwal.
The mesmerizing presentation of traditional Kathak dance and Rajasthani folk dance Bhavai dance in the program mesmerized the audience. Also, live music made the presentation even more lively, which included Ramesh Mewal on singing, Praveen Arya on Pakhawaj, Mohit Kathak on Tabla, Khushi Kathak on singing, Amruddin Khan on Sitar and Lucky Rana on Khartal.
The program ended with a grand presentation on the famous song Kesariya Balam, a wonderful fusion of Kathak and folk dance, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The event was a huge success, presenting a beautiful example of the diversity and rich cultural tradition of Indian dance art.
