New Delhi, . Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday personally heard the complaints, problems and suggestions of the residents of her Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency. This hearing was held during the public hearing. An officer gave this information. A large number of people told their problems to the Chief Minister. “Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, taking each case seriously and sensitively, has directed officials of the concerned departments to initiate immediate action and ensure time-bound resolution,” an official statement said.
He emphasized that such public hearings are not a mere formality, but a meaningful mechanism to understand the expectations of the people and address them effectively.
The Chief Minister said that the feedback received during these talks plays an important role in shaping policies and making government schemes more people-centric.
He reiterated that the Delhi government is fully committed to ensuring prompt and transparent resolution of citizens’ problems.
The Chief Minister also informed that several development works are being taken forward rapidly in Shalimar Bagh constituency to strengthen the infrastructure.
“These include road upgradation, ensuring clean and uninterrupted water supply, setting up of Atal canteens, expansion of Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs, setting up of water ATMs, modernization of parks and development of organized parking facilities,” he said.
He further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Delhi government aims to develop Shalimar Bagh as an ideal constituency where residents have access to high-quality essential services.
The Chief Minister said that constant monitoring and coordination is being ensured to achieve this target.
Senior officials of various departments were present during the program and the problems of many public supporters were resolved on the spot.
Chief Minister Gupta also directed the officials to expedite the pending cases and provide timely relief to the citizens.
