Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij verbally attacked Rahul Gandhi and said that Rahul Gandhi has lost many elections. He said that if Rahul Gandhi had been a lion, he would not have died. Apart from this, he said that delimitation is taking place in Haryana and the seats of Lok Sabha and Assembly are increasing. At the same time, he said that transfers taking place at any level in the department should be brought to the notice of the departmental minister.
Vij was talking to journalists today. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in his statement that he is not afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, rather Modi ji is afraid of Congress because the lion will catch him and action will be taken, on which Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said sarcastically that this is the reason why Rahul Gandhi ji is getting defeated in every state, Rahul Gandhi has lost many elections. Minister Vij said that if Rahul Gandhi had been a lion, he would not have died.
Responding to the discussions on municipal elections, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is always ready for elections and the BJP will hoist the victory flag at all three places. Minister Anil Vij sarcastically said that opposition parties are active only during elections, whereas BJP workers remain among the public 365 days.
Minister Vij claimed that just as the people of the state had approved the policies of PM Modi and the development work of the state government in the assembly and previous local body elections, similarly the lotus will bloom in the upcoming municipal corporation elections also. He also made it clear that the pace of development works will be further accelerated in all the municipal corporations of the state including Ambala and the public will not fall prey to the false promises of the opposition.
Responding to the issue of delimitation, Vij has described it as an important process. He said that delimitation is taking place and Lok Sabha and Assembly seats are increasing. All will be formed again and there are expected to be around 120 assemblies in Haryana, hence there is a possibility of retrenchment. On the ongoing discussions on transfers in his departments, he said that it is being misrepresented.
He said that as per rules, transfers taking place at any level in the department should be brought to the notice of the departmental minister and should proceed through his office only. They had received some complaints where direct transfers had been made. Keeping this in view, he had issued written instructions.
