New Delhi, October 14 (). Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday inaugurated the Vikas Bharat Buildathon (VBB) 2025 in the capital Delhi.
During the inaugural session, the Union Minister interacted with the students and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of schools and participating students from across the country.
The Union Minister said that building a developed India will rest on the shoulders of talented school students. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s dream of a developed India by 2047 will be realized through transformative efforts like VBB. He also called upon the students to play an active role in shaping the future of the country.
He said, “The innovative ideas emerging from here will pave the way for creating new global models and finding solutions to domestic and global challenges.”
The inaugural session was also followed by a two-hour innovation challenge, in which students from classes 6 to 12 participated in a live tinkering session, in which students from classes 6 to 12 worked in teams to create prototypes based on four themes, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samridhi.
A special highlight of the event was the School Spotlights, in which 150 schools from remote areas, aspirational districts, hill states and frontier areas shared their progress and experiences.
The Union Minister also visited Delhi Public School, Mathura Road and PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Delhi Cantt to interact with students and teachers.
Pradhan observed various projects of the students and got information about their learning process. Appreciating their creativity and enthusiasm, he encouraged the students to remain inquisitive and appreciated their extraordinary creativity, which will actively contribute to the achievement of the goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
