Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the development exhibition held on Tuesday in Ahmedabad under the development week being celebrated in Gujarat from 7 to 15 October in Gujarat. On this occasion, he highlighted the progress and schemes of development in the state and said that PM Narendra Modi started a new chapter of development politics on 7 October 2001 as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that the purpose of Vikas Week is to display various schemes and initiatives in the state among the general public and make them aware of their benefits. Many schemes related to education, health, agriculture, industry, water wealth, smart city and Digital India have been included in this exhibition.
Bhupendra Patel said that Gujarat has made significant progress in the field of economic and social development in the last few years. He also emphasized that the state government aims to reach the common citizens directly to the common citizens and this improves the lifestyle of the people.
In the development exhibition, departments and organizations from various districts of the state displayed their development models and projects. In this, many aspects related to digital platforms, sanitation and environment, rural development, women empowerment and entrepreneurship were presented to the general public.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, Gujarat has set a new example of development. He also stated that development is not limited to economic growth, but it is ensured through equally accessible schemes and opportunities to every section of the society.
Officers and citizens present on the occasion appreciated the schemes and efforts of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Through the exhibition, a message was given to the people that the government is working with transparency and accountability in every field.
Inaugurating the exhibition, the Chief Minister said that Gujarat has established its name at the national level with the reforms made in the field of education, health and infrastructure in the state. He also said that development week is an important step to make people aware of government schemes and their benefits.
