With the aim of strengthening the infrastructure in the district, expanding medical facilities and ensuring proper management of government properties, District Collector Mayank Manish on Tuesday inspected various under-construction and proposed sites in the city.
During this, he physically inspected the land of Pragatirat District Hospital located at Saharai Road, 56 Bigha government land located at Shahpur and the land of Mini Secretariat complex and provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.
Conservation of government land and allocation to departments:
In view of the safe conservation and future good utilization of the government land, the District Collector reached the site of 56 bighas of land located in Shahpur. He instructed the Municipal Council to get fencing done around this plot to ensure its safety. Along with this, he directed Tehsildar Deeg to prepare a proposal to allot this land to various departments as per requirement.
Mini Secretariat Complex:
Taking cognizance of encroachment: After this, the District Collector inspected the Sivayachak land near the Mini Secretariat. Taking cognizance of possible encroachments in this perimeter, he called for a detailed and factual report of the encroachments from the concerned revenue officers. He clarified that this government land should be kept safe by making it free from encroachment as per the rules, so that in future it can be used uninterruptedly for expansion of administrative public facilities and other government purposes.
Review of construction works of District Hospital:
To take stock of the progress of the district’s project related to public health, the District Collector inspected the under-construction District Hospital complex located on Saharai Road. He observed the quality and pace of various works going on at the construction site.
He said that the construction work should be completed within the stipulated time while maintaining complete quality, so that the general public can get the benefits of this hospital as soon as possible. During this, Subdivision Officer Dig Mukesh Chaudhary, Municipal Council Commissioner Kuldeep Singh, Tehsildar Jugeeta Meena and officials of revenue and other related departments were present.
