Hanumangarh. Thursday brought a big gift for the local citizens and students, when the Savitribai Jyotiba Phule Public Library in Gram Panchayat Nethrana was inaugurated by District Collector Dr. Khushal Yadav. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Yadav said that Savitribai Phule’s life struggle and her dedication towards education are inspiring for the entire society. The purpose of this library named after him is not just to provide access to books, but to revive the ‘reading culture’. The District Collector said that this library will become a ‘house of knowledge’ for the youth and students of deprived sections preparing for competitive examinations. The District Collector inspected the library premises, appreciated the reading material and informed that an additional hall will also be constructed in the library soon. He told the students, “When you become successful, you will also become a partner in the development of your village.” Chief District Education Officer Pannalal Kadela, DEO Chyanamal Bhargava and CBEO Jainendra Khanna, PEEO and Principal Peerdan Beniwal, Gram Panchayat Administrator Shri Rajendra Kumar were also present in the ceremony. The facilities of WiFi, furniture, mat, painting, electrical system and maintenance in the library are being provided by Bhamashah Meenu Beniwal and School Management Committee.

After the inauguration of the library, a night chaupal was organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Nethrana, in which District Collector Dr. Yadav held a public hearing with officials of various departments. He listened to the problems of the villagers with great seriousness and got those matters resolved immediately which could be resolved on the spot. Instructed officials to take positive and prompt action on other complaints. The District Collector informed the villagers about government schemes and said that the aim of the administration is to extend the benefits of the schemes to the last person.
Strict instructions on water theft
District Collector Dr. Khushal Yadav directed the concerned departments to take strict action to stop water theft. Villagers were heard on many issues including starting work under Bharat Ji Ram Ji Yojana developed in Chaupal, providing benefits of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, improving drinking water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission, removing illegal connections, cleaning drains, closing illegal moghas and nakas. On this occasion, the District Collector also honored the cricket players who performed excellently.
Zilla Parishad CEO OP Bishnoi, SDM Bhagirath Ram, Tehsildar Dharmendra Jandu, BDO Sheela Devi, departmental officer and Gram Panchayat Administrator Rajendra Kumar were present in Ratri Chaupal.
