Jodhpur. Under the Budget announcement 2024- 25, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Atal Pragati Road Construction works costing Rs 9 crore was held on Tuesday at the Animal Fair Pal Pal in the main hospitality of Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel.
Union Culture and Tourism Minister Shekhawat said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government of double engine is working committed to public welfare. He said that there was a decrease in corruption in the Modi government, the boundaries of the country were safe, terrorism was curbed and the country’s economy has moved forward at a fast pace.
Revolutionary change in economy and tax structure
Shekhawat said that the Modi government made revolutionary changes in the economy and tax structure of the country. Due to which today India started being counted among the four major economies of the world. He said that GST law was introduced in the year 2017 to bring the resolve of ‘one nation one tax and one market’. Due to which the country’s three and a half times tax collection increased and more money started to be available for development works. He said that due to tax reforms, the number of taxpayers has increased from 65 lakh to one crore 65 lakhs.
Call to promote maximum use of indigenous use
Shekhawat said that the next generation GST reform will provide direct savings of every citizen of the country. He said that only 0 or 5 percent GST will be charged on each item of daily use. He said that due to GST reform, the citizens of the country will save Rs 2.50 lakh crore in one year.
Calling all the people of the state, he said that we have to make the resolution of self -reliant India and Vocal for Local by promoting the use of Swadeshi more and more.
9 Green Expressway will be built in Rajasthan
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Patel said that under the efficient leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is determined for the construction of the developed road system. He said that in just one and a half years, the work of development of 30 thousand 381 km of roads has been done by spending Rs 21 thousand 650 crore. He said that Rajasthan will be divided into four parts and the state -of -the -art 9 Green Express Way will be constructed.
Patel said that there will be no shortage in Luni’s development. He said that road construction work of 298.15 km of Rs 315 crore 68 lakh has been sanctioned through the Public Works Department. He said that Satelight Hospital in Sangaria, Trauma Center at Keru, CHC at Kudi and 3 PHCs were approved.
New colleges opened in Jhanwar and Keru for better higher education opportunities
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that 2 new 132 KV and one 33 KV GSS have been approved for proper power supply in the area. He said that new colleges have been started in Jhanwar and Keru for better opportunities for higher education in the area.

– Atal Pragati Path (3 km) cost 4.50 crore rupees from Pal Animal Fair Road to Government School.
– Atal Pragati Path (Sangaria) Construction work (3 km) costs Rs 4.50 crore from the piao to Pali Road of Sipies.
