fold . Madhya Pradesh government minister Govind Singh Rajput said that Sunday was a big day for the people of Guna. A gift worth about Rs 1 thousand crore has been received here. All this was possible due to the special efforts of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Let us tell you that May 10 proved to be a historic day for Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. The district received a huge industrial gift of more than Rs 1,000 crore, which is expected to open new avenues of development and employment in the area. Minister Govind Singh Rajput told the media that this is a big day for Guna. He told that industrialist Gautam Adani himself was present in the program and he approved this project. Govind Singh Rajput said that this project will provide direct and indirect employment to about 1,500 people, due to which the local youth will not have to go out for employment.
The foundation stone of Ambuja Cements Factory, to be built by Adani Group at a cost of about Rs 1059 crore, was laid on Sunday in Maavan area of Guna. The government believes that this plant will start an industrial revolution in the Gwalior-Chambal region and will give a new impetus to the economy of the area.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also performed bhoomi pujan and inaugurated 144 other development works costing Rs 130 crore. These include many important projects like roads, sub-health centers and schools.
Minister Govind Singh Rajput assured the farmers and said that the farmers whose land will be acquired for the factory will be given four times compensation. He said that for the first time in the country, farmers will get compensation at such a high rate. He said that Madhya Pradesh government is the government of farmers and no farmer will remain unhappy in the state.
The Madhya Pradesh government minister also enumerated the achievements of the government regarding wheat procurement. Govind Singh Rajput said that the state had earlier got the quota for purchasing wheat of 78 lakh metric tonnes from the Central Government, but due to the efforts of the Chief Minister and the Madhya Pradesh Government, it increased to 100 lakh metric tonnes. He said that the government is purchasing wheat in sufficient quantity and farmers will not be allowed to face any problem.
