First married daughter, then son-in-law murdered in in-laws house… Bloody game due to illicit relations in Khagaria

A shocking incident has come to light from Khagaria district of Bihar, where a 22-year-old youth was shot dead while he was going to his in-laws’ house. The incident took place on Thursday morning in Mathar Janli Tola of Mufasil police station area. The deceased has been identified as Tonish Yadav, a resident of Dandari village in Begusarai district. The surprising thing is that Tonish Yadav got married only a month ago.

According to reports, Tonish Yadav had gone to his in-laws’ house eight days ago. He was to return home on Thursday, but shortly before he was to go on leave, criminals stabbed him to death. This incident created a huge uproar in the area and the police was immediately informed. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

The family of the deceased has made shocking allegations. The family members who reached Sadar Hospital told that Tonish’s wife had an illicit relationship with her brother-in-law. She claims that this was her second marriage and she was not happy with the relationship. It is alleged that a conspiracy to murder Tonish was hatched to divert attention from this love affair.

Four arrested including wife

Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police took immediate action. Incharge of Muffasil police station Sangeeta Kumari said that an FIR has been registered against five people in this case. The police have so far arrested the wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law. The main accused (wife’s alleged lover/Josh) is still absconding and raids are being conducted to arrest him.

Tonish was the youngest of five brothers and used to earn his living by working as a laborer. His death has created an uproar in both the families of Begusarai and Khagaria. Police say that they are investigating the case from every angle and will soon arrest the main accused.
