Jodhpur. The full house meeting of Marwar Press Club (MPC) was held under the chairmanship of club president Rajeev Gaur, in which many important decisions related to the organization were taken. In the meeting, it was announced to hold elections in all 10 districts. Besides, it was decided to start membership campaign in other eight districts including Jodhpur rural area.
Main decisions of the meeting: World Peace: It was decided to organize Sunderkand Path on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti. The responsibility of organizing the event was handed over to Event Committee Chairman Mohit Heda.
Interest of journalists: It was agreed to organize a special camp to solve the problems related to notification in collaboration with the Information and Public Relations Department. Manoj Sharma, Chairman of the Project Approval Committee, was given the responsibility of preparing it.
Convention: It was decided to call a big convention of journalists of Western Rajasthan, the responsibility of which was handed over to Advisor Pradeep Joshi.
Collaboration with other organizations: It was decided to strongly raise issues related to the interests of journalists in collaboration with other journalist organizations.
Programs and Member Engagement: Club morning tracking program will be organized, rural journalists will be invited to Sunderkand Path and membership drive will be conducted as and when required.
Professional Training: Workshops and seminars will be organized for practical training and better behavior of journalists.
Health and Safety: Provisions will be made to address insurance, medical and health-related problems of members. Besides, three days swimming training will also be organised.
Organization expansion and elections
The upcoming elections will be held in Jodhpur city, Dehat, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Pali, Nagaur, Phalodi and Balotra.
The responsibility of preparation and conduct of elections was handed over to Election Committee Chairman Girish Sharma.
All committees were given the responsibility of conducting result-oriented activities, thereby ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Key members present in the meeting
Club President, Vice President Imtiaz Ahmed, Secretary Chandrashekhar Vyas, Treasurer Manoj Giri, Joint Secretary Lalit Singh Badgujar, Executive Members, Advisory Board members and Chairman and members of various committees were present in the meeting. The meeting started by paying tribute to the deceased journalists.
Purpose and importance
The objective of the meeting is to make the activities of the club result oriented, transparent and strong and to make the organization effective at a larger level. All decisions were taken keeping in mind the upcoming programs, interest of journalists, social concerns and expansion of the organization.
