Beijing, 12 September (). Following its initiatives on global development, safety and civilization, China has recently presented another better solution: Global Governance Initiative. These four initiatives create a broad structure for the management of international affairs, providing a stable basis in the turbulent world.
Eighty years ago, the devastation of two world wars inspired the international community for a deep reconsideration, resulting in the United Nations born and a new chapter began in global rule. After 80 years, our time trend towards peace, development, cooperation and widespread victory remains unchanged, but the mentality of the Cold War, the shadow of hegemony and protectionism still remains. The world has entered a new era of turmoil and change and global rule has reached a new turn.
At the recently held SCO Theinchenchin Summit, Chinese President Xi Chinfing presented a global rule initiative, providing an ideological structure and work guide to operate a world full of change and anarchy, and presents a best solution to make the international system more fair and justified.
Significantly, the global rule initiative directly addresses the pain points and difficulties of the dilemma of the international system, and the rule of international law as an ideal on the basis of sovereign equality, the multiplicity of people as the route, the welfare of the people as the goal, and forms a governance model on a governance model on the “joint consulting construction and shared advantage”.
