Golden opportunity for job in ISRO! Anyone from 10th pass to IIT graduate can apply, know the complete process.

ISRO’s Space Applications Center (SAC) has released a new notification for recruitment to the posts of Technician and Pharmacist. It is noteworthy that both 10th pass and IIT-educated candidates are eligible to apply.

A total of 55 posts will be appointed under this recruitment drive. These posts include various technical trades like Fitter, Electrician, IT Mechanic etc. Additionally, one post has been announced for Pharmacist. The application process will continue till November 13, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of ISRO www.sac.gov.in.

Now let us discuss the eligibility criteria. For Technician post, the candidate must have passed 10th. They should also have ITI, NTC or NAC certificate in relevant trade like Fitter, Electrician, IT or Mechanic from a recognized institute. For Pharmacist post, the candidate must have first class Diploma in Pharmacy.

How will the selection process be conducted?

Candidates will be selected in two stages: a written examination and a skill test. The written examination will be of 90 minutes, consisting of 80 objective questions. There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. This examination will be conducted as per the syllabus prescribed by DGT. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for skill test. The skill test will carry marks in the ratio of approximately 1:5 and will be qualifying only, i.e. its marks will not be included in the final merit list.

Now let us know about the application fee. All candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹500, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. However, the full amount will be refunded to Women, SC/ST, Disabled and Ex-Servicemen candidates after the examination. Other candidates will get ₹400 back.

If you want to apply, first visit www.sac.gov.in. Register by going to the “Careers” section. Enter your basic information and receive a registration number. Then, log in and fill the application form. Upload your recent passport size photograph (maximum 1MB size) and signature. Upload all required documents and pay the application fee. Finally, submit the form and keep its printout with you.
