Lucknow,. UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the gas crisis has arisen due to international conflict. There is no shortage of gas but it is not as abundantly available as before. The current needs of the people are being met. A committee has been formed under the leadership of the Home Minister, which includes the Petroleum Minister and the Foreign Minister. This committee is keeping an eye on the situation. On Thursday evening, a big ship arrived with 1 lakh 35 thousand metric tons of oil. This much oil is enough for small countries.

He said that India is a big country, hence the need for gas and oil is more here. This issue is not for politics but this problem has arisen due to international conflict. He said that the Chief Minister of UP is also keeping an eye on the situation and has given strict instructions regarding black marketing. The double engine government knows how to deal with every problem. Whenever such a problem has come before the government, the government has dealt with that problem. So there is no need to worry. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said on Thursday that the government is making every possible effort to safeguard the country’s energy security amid the disruptions in oil and gas supply due to the Iran war. The government has worked hard to make India self-reliant in the energy sector, which has resulted in huge savings for the country. He said that before 2014, India had very little storage capacity for strategic petroleum reserves. Now, we have a lot of reserve stock.
PM Modi said that the government is determined to ensure that the citizens of India do not face any problems due to wars in different parts of the world. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said that all steps are being taken by the government to ensure uninterrupted energy supply. 50 lakh LPG cylinders are being distributed every day, so consumers should avoid panic booking of LPG.
