Chandigarh. MP Deepender Hooda today gave an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha on the serious issue of air pollution. He said that air pollution has reached life-threatening levels in nearby states including Haryana and Delhi, crores of citizens are suffering from the problem of air pollution. Today the situation has reached such a level that people are forced to live in poisonous air. Every winter the country worries about this and by February-March this issue is forgotten. The government answers by making food in the Parliament but does not give any budget. Deependra Hooda said that this issue should be taken seriously. The Prime Minister himself should come forward and take initiative. A group of Chief Ministers of all the affected states including Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan should be formed in which the Prime Minister should also be included and a comprehensive project to get rid of air pollution should be brought before the country and adequate budget should be given to it. Apart from this, MP Deepender Hooda raised questions in the Parliament on the mandatory pre-loading of ‘Sanchar Sathi’ in every mobile. On this, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia gave clarification and said that changes in the order are being considered. Deependra Hooda said that until the entire order is not withdrawn, issues of privacy/surveillance will remain. MP Deependra Hooda, who reached the Parliament complex wearing a mask, said that today the situation regarding air pollution in Haryana, Delhi NCR is very serious. Of the 50 most polluted cities in the world, 43 are in India and 12 of them are in Haryana. The government did not accept the ‘Right to Clean Air Bill’ that MP Deepender Hooda had brought in the year 2017 and today his adjournment motion on this issue was also not accepted. MP Deepender Hooda today asked a question in the Lok Sabha regarding the necessity of preloading the Sanchar Sathi app and said that preloading of the app is a big attack on the privacy of the users, it raises the question of snooping and it is not acceptable in any way. Preloading of any app is not mandatory in any country in the world. On his question, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia clarified that the Sanchar Sathi app can be disabled even after downloading. The government acknowledged that technology can also be used negatively. The Union Minister said that if necessary, the order regarding mandatory preload of Sanchar Sathi app will be changed. Deependra Hooda said that the government will have to change this order. On this occasion, MP Jai Prakash JP, MP Satpal Brahmachari, MP Varun Mullana were present.
