Jodhpur. The health of storyteller Asaram, who was serving life imprisonment for sexually exploiting minor disciples, suddenly deteriorated. According to the information, Asaram had returned to Jodhpur after getting treatment from Maharashtra two days ago and was living in the Central Jail.
On Friday afternoon his heartbeat suddenly increased and he felt uncomfortable. When the situation became serious, the jail administration took immediate action and shifted Asaram to Arogyam Medical Center located at Bhagat Ki Kothi. He has been kept under immediate medical observation in the hospital. Asaram recently got parole from Rajasthan High Court, under which he was treated in Madhavbagh. He was brought back to Jodhpur Central Jail after his parole period ended. But due to fluctuating health, he has been admitted to the hospital again.
According to hospital sources, Asaram’s heartbeat had increased abnormally and he was feeling uncomfortable. At present he has been kept under the observation of doctors and necessary treatment is going on. The jail administration is also taking the responsibility of their safety and health with full vigilance.
Asaram has been sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually exploiting minor disciples. Due to his health problems for some time now, it had become necessary to undergo treatment while on parole.
