Police station officer Narendra Singh Bhati said that Jashoda (14), living in Meghwal colony of Nedach village, was murdered by her father Narayanlal Meghwal by slitting her throat. No clear motive for the crime has emerged yet. Since the incident, the police is searching for the absconding accused father.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shipra Rajawat said that the mother of the minor victim does not live in Nedach with her family. On Sunday, between noon and evening, father Narayanlal slit the throat of his minor daughter Jashoda with a sharp weapon. The minor daughter was going to school.
The blood soaked body was found lying on the floor near the bed in the room. On receiving information about the murder, police officers and employees of Khamnor police station reached the spot.
