A shocking incident came to light on April 17 at Manmad railway station in Nashik district of Maharashtra, when a youth suddenly climbed an overhead electric pole and created a ruckus there. This incident created an atmosphere of chaos at the station and spread panic among the passengers.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man climbed the pillar without any warning, which frightened the people present there. Due to this dangerous action of his, in view of the security around the railway track, the operation of many trains was also affected and the movement was affected for some time.
Electricity supply stopped immediately, rescue operation started
Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the railway administration took immediate action and stopped the power supply of the overhead line, so that any major accident could be avoided. After this, Railway Protection Force (RPF) and other employees reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
Caution was taken in this operation which lasted for several hours, because the young man was present on an electric pole at a height and any mistake could have resulted in a major accident. The team tried to take him down with patience and strategy.
Young man brought down safely
After a lot of effort, the railway employees finally brought the young man down safely. It is a matter of relief that there was no serious injury or major accident in this entire incident.
Information revealed regarding mental condition
After preliminary investigation, it has come to light that the young man is mentally unstable. At present, he has been safely handed over to the concerned authorities and further investigation is being done.
Panic spread among passengers
During this incident, there was a lot of fear among the passengers present at the station. Due to this sudden action and the trains being affected, people had to face inconvenience for some time.
