-The daughters of the migrated families get the vaccine in Jaipur. A historical initiative took place in Jaipur towards the health protection of women. The free cervical cancer vaccination camp organized on the initiative of Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar at the community center located in Varun Path of Mansarovar region set a new example in the society. Health Minister of Rajasthan Government Gajendra Singh Khivansar was present as the chief guest at the event. During the program, 300 schoolgirls, including girls from Pakistan, were also vaccinated free of cost to prevent cervical cancer. On this occasion, the Mayor said that this campaign is not only healthcare, but a social movement that connects every section of the society.
Lively example of public service
Mayor Dr. Gurjar, considering this initiative as a completely personal obligation, borne the cost of the vaccine with his salary. He said that “The girls of our country are India of our future. It is the duty of every citizen to ensure their safety and health.” His move proved to be a boon for those families who could not get their daughters this expensive vaccine due to financial constraints.
Emotional moment in displaced families
The most emotional glimpse of the program was seen when the girls of Hindu families displaced from Pakistan also got vaccinated. A displaced mother said that “We have lost a lot, but the security that our daughters have got today gives us new life.” For these families, this vaccine was not only a health protection, but also a symbol of acceptance and respect.
“Cancer will lose, India will win”
During the vaccination, the girls enthusiastically raised slogans of “Cancer will lose, India will win”. Smile on his faces and confidence in the eyes were proof that this initiative is not only limited to vaccination, but a safe future foundation.

The event gave the message that every person has the right to healthcare that whatever his social, economic or religious situation is.
This initiative of Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar has become a strong example of sensitive leadership, women empowerment and service to humanity.
On this occasion, Hon’ble Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khivansar appreciated this initiative and said that “the security of women’s health is the foundation stone of a healthy society.” Public representatives Arun Verma, Ramvatar Gupta, State Spokesperson Pratap Rao and officers of the corporation were present in the program.
