Leh. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) conducted a mock drill at Leh airport on Saturday. This mock drill was named ‘Annual CTCP Mock Exercise-2025’. Its main objective was to ensure that if a terrorist attack occurs, what efforts will the security forces take to control the situation. CISF had already prepared a complete outline in this regard, on the basis of which this mock drill was organized. Airport officials also gave full cooperation in this mock drill. During this time it was ensured that everything was done as per the prescribed outline.
During the mock drill, an attempt was made to see what would be the first steps taken by the security forces if for some reason a terrorist attack occurs. Ultimately, what steps will the security forces take towards normalizing the situation? To replicate this as an exercise, a mock drill was organized in which there was 100 percent contribution from everyone, be it CISF personnel or airport officials.
In order to conduct this mock drill, mainly CISF, AAI, State Police, BDDS, IB, CID and airline employees ensured their cooperation in this exercise.
Those who contributed from their side in the mock drill said that such an event increases the chances of us getting a safe environment and our soldiers are mentally prepared to face every kind of situation, which ensures our safety.
