Kannur (Kerala): A sensational incident has come to light by a student of ninth grade students studying in a government school in Kannur district of the state during the examination. Taking the matter seriously, the school administration immediately informed the police and intelligence agencies, after which the investigation has been started.

How did the incident happen

According to the information, the incident occurred during the mid-term examination of the school. The student wrote the names of international terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hamas and Hurthi on the first page of the answer book in the subject of Social Science subject. Not only this, he also made pictures of weapons like guns, bullets and swords on the page.

It is being told that in the first 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination, the student started writing and making all this. When the rest of the students were reading the question paper, he started entering these names and drawings in his copy.

Case came in the eyes of teachers

While submitting answer books, teachers caught sight of it. The teachers were surprised to see the copy and immediately informed the school administration. When the matter became serious, the parents of the student were called and the police was also reported to the police.

Administration and police action

Given the sensitivity of the case, the school management refused to consider it as a normal joke or mischief. He says that this kind of behavior is very worrying. The police have started investigation by taking the answer book in their possession. Also, intelligence agencies have also been alerted to find out whether there is any external influence on the student.

According to officials, it is seen in preliminary investigation whether the student has taken this step under negligence or stress, or there is a deep motivation or external interference behind it.

Rising questions

This incident raises many questions:

After all, how familiar with the names of terrorist organizations and their symbols? Is the student affected by the Internet or social media? Is this only the result of examination pressure or mental deviation? Is adequate attention to the mental health and thinking of children in the education system?

Opinion of experts

Education experts say that this incident highlights the need to understand the psychology of children and give them the right direction in time. In the cyber era, children are soon affected by the Internet and sometimes get attracted to wrong information or ideologies. In such a situation, family and teachers should closely monitor the children.
