New Delhi, March 2 (). The Defense Ministry of the United Arab Emirates has informed that Indians have also been injured in the Iranian attack. The Indian Embassy in UAE said that the injured Indians are out of danger and they are being given all possible assistance.
The UAE Defense Ministry issued an update on the damage and civilian casualties caused by the Iranian attack, stating that Pakistani, Nepali and Bangladeshi citizens have died in these incidents.
It was further reported that 58 Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, and Afghan nationals were slightly injured.
On this, it was told by the Indian Embassy that the Embassy is aware of the injury of the Indian citizen and is in touch with the hospital authorities. Indian citizens are out of danger. We are providing all possible assistance.
The UAE Defense Ministry said that since the beginning of the Iranian attack, the UAE Air Force and Air Defense Forces have encountered 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 541 Iranian drones. On the morning of the second day of the attack, the UAE Air Force and Air Defense Forces destroyed 20 ballistic missiles, while eight missiles fell into the sea. They also destroyed two cruise missiles and 311 drones.
The ministry reported that some debris fell in various areas of the country as a result of interception of ballistic missiles and drones by air defense systems, causing minor to moderate physical damage to many civilian properties.
The Ministry expressed its full readiness to deal with any threat and stressed that the safety of citizens, residents and visitors is the top priority, which cannot be compromised.
