New Delhi, May 27 (). Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri praised the working style and religious-cultural approach of the Prime Minister on completion of 12 years of Modi government. He said that in the last 12 years, India’s eternal culture, religious traditions and cultural values of the nation have received unprecedented respect.
Speaking to news agency , Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj said, “Different people may have different opinions and viewpoints, but in their view, India’s cultural heritage, eternal traditions and spiritual identity have gained new prestige during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The way major religious places of the country have gained global recognition was never seen before.”
He also appreciated the people of Muslim community who are demanding declaring cow as the national animal. During this, he mentioned the Sanskrit proverb “Gavo Vishwasya Matarah” and said that cow has been given the place of mother in Indian culture. He has studied the Quran many times, including its Hindi and Sanskrit translations, and there is no mention of killing cattle or camels anywhere in it.
Swami Kailashanand Giri said that people who support violence or killing of cows in the name of religion do not actually understand the basic principles of religion. The basic objective of all religions is to strengthen the spirit of humanity, compassion and co-existence.
Referring to the politics of West Bengal and Delhi, he said that earlier the environment of both the states was quite similar. He said that during the previous governments, the Sant Samaj did not get the required respect in religious and spiritual programs. He claimed that many businessmen and followers of Sanatan Dharma in West Bengal felt an atmosphere of fear regarding religious events.
Swami Kailashanand Giri also praised CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and said that he continuously appeals to the devotees to come on the yatra only after registering. He said that the government and administration are making continuous efforts for the safety and convenience of the passengers.
He said that religious places like Kedarnath Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ram Temple and Mahakaleshwar Temple have got a new identity by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to him, after the Prime Minister’s visits, people’s faith and attraction towards these places has increased significantly.
Mahamandaleshwar said that every possible arrangement is made for the convenience and safety of the devotees coming to Kedarnath. He said that many devotees arrive without adequate warm clothes. In such a situation, sweaters, jackets, shoes, gloves and other essential items are immediately arranged for them. He said that today not only the country but people all over the world seem excited about the journey to Kedarnath Dham.
