Tel Aviv. Amidst the ongoing tension with Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made a big revelation about his health. According to Israeli media, PM Netanyahu was battling prostate cancer. According to The Times of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that he had undergone treatment for a malignant prostate tumor. He had undergone surgery for benign prostate enlargement, after which he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December 2024 during a routine checkup. Prime Minister Netanyahu gave information about his medical health condition on social media platform X. He did not say when he got it treated, but said that the problem went away. Thank God, I defeated it too.
The Israeli PM wrote, “Today my annual medical report was published. I had requested to delay its publication by two months so that it would not be released in time of war, so that the Iranian Terror Government would not get the opportunity to spread even more false propaganda against Israel. One and a half years ago, I had successful surgery for an enlarged benign prostate and since then I have been under regular medical monitoring. At the last monitoring, there was an enlargement of the prostate of less than a centimeter. Found a small spot.”
He wrote, “On investigation, it was found that it was a very early stage of a malignant tumor, which had not spread or metastasized at all. The doctors told me that this is very common in men of my age and there are two options. One is that it does not need to be treated; it is possible to live with monitoring alone. You can live with it and many people do. The second is to get treatment and the problem goes away. “
The Israeli Prime Minister further said, “You all know me, when I get timely information about a potential threat, I want to fix it immediately. This is true at the national level and also at the personal level. That’s what I did. I got targeted treatment, which eliminated the problem and there was no trace of it. I got some small treatments done, read a book and kept working. That scar disappeared completely. Thank God, I recovered from that too. Gone.”
