Jaipur: Case of throwing boiling water on a girl, accused policeman present in line; Government will bear the entire cost of treatment

Jaipur. The police department has taken major action in the case of boiling water falling on a girl selling momos in Ramnagariya police station area of ​​Jaipur and causing serious burns to her. The accused policeman Narendra has been made to appear in line (removed from duty under departmental action) late on Saturday night. At the same time, the state government, showing sensitivity, has announced to bear the entire cost of the treatment of the victim, provide financial assistance and allot a dairy booth for the livelihood of the family. Incident that happened during the security of the Chief Minister’s convoy: This tragic incident took place on the Mahal Road of Jagatpura at around 7.45 pm on June 19. According to the police, at that time the Chief Minister’s convoy was about to pass through there, due to which the policemen were getting the carts removed from the roadside. Khushboo, elder sister of the victim Reshu Gupta (27), had lodged an FIR in this case on June 22. It is alleged that while forcibly removing the cart, the policeman pushed her hard, due to which the cart overturned and the boiling water kept on it fell on Reshu, due to which she got badly burnt.
Officials reached home and consoled, announced help: After the matter gained momentum, Municipal Corporation Jaipur Greater Commissioner Om Kasera and Deputy Commissioner Neelam Meena reached the victim’s house in Vyas Apartment in Pratapnagar. Officials met the family and assured all possible help from the state government:
Free Treatment: The entire cost of treatment of the victim Reshu Gupta will be borne by the state government.
Financial assistance: In this time of crisis, immediate financial assistance will be provided to the victim’s family.
Permanent Employment (Dairy Booth): For permanent rehabilitation and livelihood of the family, the government will allot them a dairy booth, the process of which has been started.
Took responsibility after father’s death: Victim Reshu Gupta had given many competitive examinations after doing B.Sc. After not achieving success and the demise of his father Lal Bahadur Gupta, he and his elder sister decided to run the family. Just 25 days ago, Reshu had started setting up his cart named ‘Healthy Atta Momos’ on Capital High Street, Mahal Road.
At present, the police department has started an impartial departmental inquiry against the accused policeman.
