Jaipur district has approximately 22 percent share in the total self-assessment achievement of the state. Jaipur district has achieved excellent performance and secured first position in Rajasthan in the self-enumeration campaign conducted under Census Operation 2026. More than 3.25 lakh self-counts have been recorded by the district so far, which is about 22 percent of the total self-count achievement of the state. This remarkable achievement is the result of widespread public awareness of the census, effective publicity and active participation and dedicated efforts of the census personnel and officers. The district administration continuously conducted public relations and awareness activities through various mediums, due to which the common people enthusiastically participated in the self-counting campaign.
District Collector Sandesh Nayak and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Om Kasera were honored by Rajasthan Chief Secretary V Srinivas for this excellent achievement. Both the officers are working as Principal Census Officers of Jaipur district and this campaign was successfully conducted under their leadership.
The district administration has expressed its resolve to continue awareness and facilitation activities to ensure maximum participation of the general public for the successful conduct of Census 2026.
