Patna . Akhilesh Kumar, son of Janata Dal (United) MLA Vibha Devi, died in a car accident in Nawada district of Bihar. Police gave this information on Friday. According to the police, the accident took place late on Thursday night in Mofussil police station area, when their car allegedly went out of control and crashed into a banyan tree at high speed. Akhilesh Kumar was also the younger son of former minister Rajballabh Prasad Yadav. Confirming the accident, Station House Officer of Mofussil police station said that the injured was initially taken to Patna for better treatment. After the accident, the Mofussil police have started investigation to find out the cause of the accident.
According to reports, Akhilesh Kumar had left his house in Pathar English Village on Thursday evening when the accident occurred. Local people immediately reached the spot and helped take him to the hospital.
After initial treatment, the family took him to Medanta Hospital in Patna. As soon as he was admitted to the hospital, doctors started treating him. However, he died of his injuries around midnight during treatment. It is being told that Akhilesh has left behind three sons.
As soon as the news of this tragic incident was received, his family members were deeply saddened and found it difficult to console them.
His elder brother, Eklavya, said, “He had left home in his car. Very close to home, his car collided with a banyan tree. He suffered serious injuries. We admitted him to Medanta Hospital in Patna, but he could not be saved.”
After this incident, a wave of mourning has spread throughout Nawada. His mortal remains are being brought back to his native village, where his last rites will be performed. MLA Vibha Devi and other family members are deeply shocked by his untimely demise.
Although Akhilesh Kumar was not actively involved in politics, he was known for his friendly nature and his active participation in social and community programs.
