Bengaluru. A hit-and-run incident that took place on October 4 in Byatarayanapura area of Bengaluru shocked everyone. Police investigation has revealed that Kannada actress and Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Divya Suresh was involved in this incident. The incident happened around 1.30 in the night.
Three people were injured in this incident. 34 year old Anita suffered serious injuries, her leg was fractured. Two other people traveling with him on the bike suffered minor injuries. Police said that Divya Suresh is currently busy shooting for a project. However, he will soon be called for questioning.
A video of this incident has gone viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that the car hits the bike and goes away rapidly, while the people sitting on the bike fell on the road and were screaming in pain.
Police have confirmed that Divya Suresh was driving the car. Witnesses to the incident also identified him as the driver.
Police registered an FIR in this matter under sections 281 and 125(A) of the Indian Act and sections 134(A), 134(B), and 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act, stating that a car coming from the direction of Byatarayanpura police station collided with a bike coming from the other direction. Kiran, Anusha and Anita were going to the hospital on the bike. After the collision, they fell on the road, due to which Anita suffered a fracture in her leg.
The victim’s family said that doctors have advised Anita to take rest for a long time. Also said that Divya Suresh has not contacted him yet.
It is being told that after the incident, the victims had shouted for help, but the car did not stop. When the police reached the spot, arrangements were made to take seriously injured Anita to the hospital.
According to the police, the investigation is still going on and the accused will soon be taken into custody and interrogated.
