Ludhiana, October 22 (). Grand state level celebrations were organized on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Day in Ludhiana, the industrial hub of Punjab, on Wednesday.
With the cooperation of traders and Punjab Government, a special puja and ceremony was organized at Vishwakarma Temple in Ludhiana, in which thousands of devotees participated. On this occasion, Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond was present as the chief guest.
He highlighted the importance of Lord Vishwakarma by calling him the guru of labor and workmanship. Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond said, “Lord Vishwakarma is the source of inspiration for all the artisans and workers. In Ludhiana, which is the hub of industries, every house here runs some factory, cutting machine or saw. The people here make their mark not only in Punjab but in the entire country with their hard work and workmanship.”
Emphasizing on celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma at the national level, he said that this festival is a symbol of hard work and dedication. The blessings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire us for hard work and dedication. We want people to engage in more work and bring glory to the country with their work.
During the function, Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond gave a sharp reaction to the statement of BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on the issue of stubble burning.
He said, “Late last night, the air quality index (AQI) in Delhi had reached around 1000. When the Aam Aadmi Party was in power, Sirsa used to raise questions on Punjab. Now despite the BJP government being in power, they are targeting Punjab.”
Tarunpreet Singh Sond advised Manjinder Singh Sirsa to respect the turban of Punjab and speak in the interest of Punjab.
The administrators of Vishwakarma Temple greeted the countrymen on this occasion and called upon people to engage in hard work and craftsmanship.
Artisans and traders associated with various industries participated in the function and worshiped Lord Vishwakarma.
