Bhopal, December 3 (). The recruitment of Anganwadi workers in Madhya Pradesh has been done online. In this way, Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country which completed the recruitment process through online. State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday reviewed the work done by the Women and Child Development Department in the last two years. State Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria and many other officials were present in this meeting.
It was told in the review meeting that Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to implement completely online transparent recruitment process of Anganwadi workers. Similarly, the state has also been first in the FRS process of Take Home Ration, which has been appreciated at the national level.
The ‘Moti Eye’ innovation in Jhabua, a tribal dominated district of the state, has been awarded at the national level. In this, children are taken better care of, their food and drink are taken care of and massage etc. is done. ‘Moti I’ model has been implemented to eliminate malnutrition in Jhabua. In this, traditional Ayurvedic massage is combined with a nutritious diet.
Women and Child Development Department has developed a state-of-the-art module for real-time monitoring of the construction of Pradhan Mantri Jan Man Bhawan. The design and monitoring module has received special appreciation from the Government of India. The Women and Child Development Department has prepared an action plan for the next three years, which was placed before Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Central kitchen arrangements will be made for the urban Anganwadi centers of the state, through which hot food will reach the Anganwadi centres. This new system will be implemented by the year 2026. Under Nipun Bharat, huge investment will be made in pre-school education so that the vision of 2047 can be fulfilled. Ladli Brahmin Yojana will be expanded, provision for giving incentive amount will also be made. 9,000 Anganwadi buildings will be constructed in the next three years.
It was told in the review meeting that the Women and Child Development Department is extending the benefits of state and central government schemes to the tribal population. Under ‘Pradhanmantri Matru Vandan Yojana’, assistance worth more than Rs 512 crore has been given to 9.70 lakh pregnant women. Under the Laadli Brahmin scheme, Rs 36,778 crore has been transferred in January 2024-November 2025.
172000 women were provided assistance through the women’s helpline established in the state, while 52000 women got protection from the One Staff Centre. Apart from this, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, 1.89 lakh saplings were planted, 6,520 driving licenses were given, and competitive exam training was given to 8,637 girls.
