The main door of the house is not just a way for entry and exit; It is the door through which happiness and positive energy enter your life. In Vastu Shastra it is called ‘Singh Dwar’ (lion’s door). We often pay attention to the decoration inside the house and the rules of Vaastu, but ignore the energy present at the threshold of the house i.e. the main door. If there are frequent fights in your house, there is lack of coordination between family members, or you feel heaviness as soon as you enter the house, then it may be that the influence of negative energy coming from outside has increased. To overcome this problem, use of salt is considered to be the easiest and effective solution in Vastu Shastra.
Salt Remedy: How Does It Work?
According to Vastu science, salt has the natural ability to absorb negative energy. Just as salt enhances the taste of food, similarly in Vastu it creates a pleasant atmosphere inside the house. When placed near the main door, it acts like a sponge and absorbs the negative waves coming from outside.
This solution is as simple as it is effective. To try it, follow these steps:
Choosing the right thing: Always use coarse salt – preferably sea salt – for this remedy. Finely ground table salt available in the market is not considered suitable for this purpose.
Use of glass bowl: Take a small glass bowl and clean it thoroughly.
Placing salt: Fill the bowl to the brim with coarse salt.
Choosing the right place: Place it near the main door or in a corner near the door, and make sure it is not easily visible to others.
Changing regularly (most important): Don’t leave the salt out for too long. Every 15 to 20 days, remove the old salt and replace it with new salt.
Removing old salt: Old salt should be flushed out of the house into a drain or sink; Don’t throw it in the dustbin. Main benefits of this solution:
Drives away negativity: It creates a protective circle at the entrance of the house, preventing the ‘evil eye’ and negative energies from outside from entering.
Peace of mind: When there is a flow of positive energy in the house, the people of the house get peace and happiness.
Reduction in family disputes: A peaceful environment reduces unnecessary arguments and increases mutual love among family members. Relief from financial obstacles: According to the rules of Vastu, keeping salt at the main entrance of the house reduces the negative effects of planets like Rahu and Ketu, thereby eliminating financial problems.
Important things to keep in mind
Cleanliness: Just keeping salt is not enough; Make sure that your main door remains clean. Do not pile shoes and slippers in front of the door.
Avoid touching the bowl: Avoid repeatedly touching or moving the bowl containing salt. Once placed, do not disturb it.
Obstacle-free entrance: The main entrance should always be kept clean and obstacle-free so that positive energy can easily enter the house.
