A surprising incident has come to light in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Suddenly a shape like *Shivalinga* (symbol of Lord Shiva) was formed from the ice in the refrigerator of the house. As soon as this news spread, a wave of devotion ran in the area. People have started performing bhajans and prayers and many videos of these rituals are going viral on social media.

**I was surprised as soon as I opened the fridge**
The incident took place in Nagla Bhuja area near Kheria Mod in Agra. A local family was shocked when they opened their fridge and found an ice shape in the deep freezer that looked exactly like *Shivalinga*. Initially the family members considered it a miracle and worshiped it. But as soon as the news spread outside the house, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. The entire area echoed with slogans of “Har Har Mahadev”.
**Women started kirtan and aarti**
Devotees are coming from far and wide to have darshan of this unique “Barfani Baba” (God in the form of snow). Most of the visitors are women; They have formed groups to sing bhajans and kirtans. Aarti is being performed by lighting a lamp in front of *Shivling* and after the worship, Prasad is being distributed. People are considering this as an actual miracle of Lord Shiva.
**The old man told the story of the pigeons of Amarnath**
An old man also arrived among the crowd. Seeing that figure, he told the people the glory of Amarnath cave and the mythological story of the pair of immortal pigeons living there. According to religious beliefs, these pigeons living in Amarnath cave are blessed with immortality and are considered to be the living symbols of Shiva and Shakti. Hearing the words of the old man, people’s faith deepened.
***See Amarnath with ‘Baba Barfni’*
Local people are seeing a direct connection between this ice shape made in the fridge and the famous ‘Baba Barfani’ (Shivalinga of Ice) of Amarnath. Amarnath Yatra is currently going on; But due to global warming and rising temperatures, the natural Shivalinga present in the cave has melted rapidly and prematurely. According to reports, even before the completion of the 57-day journey, more than 90 percent of the Amarnath Shivalinga has melted. As a result, devotees are worshiping the ice Shivalinga made in Agra considering it to be a form of ‘Baba Barfani’.
