Jodhpur. Under the leadership of Rajasthan Temporary Nurses Sangharsh Committee, Jodhpur, the delegation met Government of India Cabinet Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at his personal residence and submitted a memorandum demanding that the proposed recruitment for 12,000 nursing posts and 4,000 paramedical posts be conducted on the basis of merit and bonus marks. The delegation informed the Minister about the problems related to nursing and paramedical cadre and discussed in detail the need to make the recruitment process transparent and equitable. During this, Honorable Union Minister Shri Shekhawat assured that he will advocate effectively before the Chief Minister and the Medical Minister on this issue. On this occasion, Rakesh Dadhich, Mukesh Chaudhary, Pawan Nainiwal, Lalit Chauhan, Lokesh Bagri, Mahendra Meghwal and Mohammad Farooq were present in the delegation led by Ritesh Sisodia.
In the same sequence, another delegation of Rajasthan Temporary Nurses Sangharsh Committee also met Osian MLA Shri Bhairaram Seol and submitted a memorandum to him. Ganpat Singh, Kapil Senwar, Ashok Dewasi and Prakash Tank were included in this delegation.
The representatives informed the MLA about the demand to make merit and bonus marks the basis in the nursing and paramedical recruitment process and expressed the expectation of positive intervention at the state level.
