Jaipur. Municipal Corporation Jaipur, Commissioner Dr. Gaurav Saini took a review meeting of the Heritage Cell in the auditorium building of the Municipal Corporation Headquarters on Thursday. In the meeting, the work done so far by the Heritage Cell to conserve and maintain the appearance of the walled area and the current situation was discussed with the concerned officials. Many officers including Deputy Commissioner Vigilance, Additional Chief Town Planner, ATP, DDP, XEN, JEN were present in the meeting. Commissioner Dr. Gaurav Saini along with instructions to work the Heritage Cell in a more strengthened manner, also directed the officials to start the remaining repair work of the wall of the wall soon. The Commissioner said that in order to maintain the walled area in UNESCO form, Deputy Commissioner Kishanpol Zone, Hawamahal Amer Zone, Adarsh Nagar Zone, Deputy Commissioner Vigilance and Heritage Cell were instructed to take effective action against temporary encroachments and illegal constructions and remove illegal hoardings, banners and posters. In the meeting, the action taken by Heritage Cell and Deputy Commissioner Zone to seize buildings in Kishanpol and Adarsh Nagar zones was also reviewed and the Commissioner gave instructions to take effective action against illegal and temporary encroachments.
