Jaipur. The Vigilance Branch of Municipal Corporation Jaipur, while running a big campaign against illegal and temporary encroachment in the city, took action at many important places. In this action taken on the instructions of Commissioner Om Kasera, not only the encroachment was removed, but action was also taken to collect fine and confiscate goods on the spot. The vigilance team conducted operations in many busy areas of the city including Vidyadhar Nagar, Muralipura, Sanganer and JLN Marg and removed temporary encroachments on roads and public places. During the action, the team collected carrying charge of Rs 7,000 and confiscated encroachment material filled in 4 containers and sent it to the Municipal Corporation warehouse. The action extended to Mandir Mod Vidyadhar Nagar, Behind Manipal Hospital, Sector-5, Muralipura Square, Niwaru Road, Bainad Road, Rambagh Circle, JDA Circle, JLN Marg, Patrika Gate and Sanganer area. Complaints of encroachment were being received in these areas for a long time, after which the Vigilance Branch tried to control the situation by conducting an intensive campaign.
Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vigilance, the team also gave a strict warning to the encroachers present on the spot. It was clearly explained to them that if encroachment in public places is seen again in future, strict action will be taken with heavy challan. The team also motivated the people to remove encroachments on their own in time, so that unnecessary action can be avoided.
The objective of this action of the Municipal Corporation is to streamline the traffic system of the city and to make public places encroachment free. After continuous complaints, it is hoped that such a campaign will provide relief to the common people.
The administration has a clear message that encroachment will not be tolerated in the city and such campaigns will continue in future also.
