New Delhi . Politics is continuously increasing in the Lok Sabha with the demand of opposition MPs to remove Speaker Om Birla. NDA MPs targeted the opposition and said that these people are insulting democracy. The way they are making noise about one issue after another is not good for the country. Taking aim at the Congress, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “At least 20-25 Congress MPs entered the Lok Sabha Speaker’s chamber and misbehaved. I was also there. The Speaker is a very soft person, otherwise strict action would have been taken. Senior Congress leaders, including Congress MPs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and KC Venugopal, were also present inside, and they were instigating him to fight.” BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal said, “The post of Speaker of the Lok Sabha is very respectable. Ever since Om Birla became the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, he has never come to any meeting of the BJP so that his impartiality is maintained. Such allegations are being made against him which are not true. The opposition should not insult democracy and the Lok Sabha Speaker in this way.”
Taking aim at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Sanjay Jaiswal said that publisher and former army chief Naravane had said that the book has not been printed. No one takes Rahul Gandhi’s words seriously. Now he has brought the book and is making noise about it and blaming BJP, which is not right.
JDU’s national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha said, “Rahul Gandhi should apologize. When Naravane and the publisher also said that the book is unpublished, the speaker was also repeatedly saying that you cannot quote from an unpublished book. They were saying all these things to spread sensation. While opposing the government, the Congress party and its leaders have started opposing the country.”
Rajasthan BJP president and MP Madan Rathod said, “Rahul Gandhi lives in imagination. He tries to damage the reputation. We recognize the leadership of our country. If someone talks like this about Prime Minister Modi, it is condemnable.”
