Gwalior, June 20 (). Gwalior administration and police have completed extensive preparations for the NEET examination to be conducted across the country. 25 examination centers have been set up in the city, where more than 5 thousand candidates will appear in the examination.
Gwalior Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dharamveer Singh Yadav, while talking to , said that special arrangements have been made to ensure that the candidates do not face any kind of inconvenience. Adequate police force will be deployed around the examination centres, while the traffic system will also be operated in such a way that students and their parents do not face any problem in reaching the centres.
“The examination was conducted at 25 centers in Gwalior on 21st. Arrangements were made in such a way that NEET candidates do not face any problem in reaching the examination centres,” the SSP said. He assured that similar arrangements will be implemented in the upcoming examinations and there will be no compromise on security standards. Due to joint preparations by the administration and police, efforts are being made to provide a safe and conducive environment to the candidates.
He said that all security protocols have been ensured and the police will maintain constant vigil to keep the examination process completely safe. Tight security arrangements have been made to conduct the examination in a peaceful, fair and orderly manner. The police administration has made all the necessary preparations, from security of the examination centers to traffic arrangements and social media monitoring.
SSP said that special attention will be kept on social media platforms during the examination. Cyber teams have been activated to prevent the spread of any kind of rumour, misleading information or objectionable material.
He appealed to the citizens and students not to share any misleading posts or messages related to the examination on social media. If anyone sees any such suspicious or objectionable post, then immediately inform the police about it, so that appropriate action can be taken in time.
SSP said that the police has special focus on all aspects related to the examination. Priority is being given to security arrangements, maintaining law and order, crowd control around the examination centers and convenience of the candidates. The aim of the administration is to ensure that all the candidates can appear in the examination without any stress and hassle.
