Netanyahu furious at Hamas, IDF bombed Gaza, Trump supported Israeli attack

New Delhi. Under US President Donald Trump’s ‘peace plan’, a ceasefire agreement was reached in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. However, the ceasefire agreement seems to be failing at the moment. Israel accused Hamas of killing a soldier and bombed Gaza. At least 42 people, including children, were killed in the latest Israeli attacks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the army to launch immediate and powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip. A US official told US media that the US had been informed about the decision to launch strikes in Gaza. Regarding this attack by Israel, US President Donald Trump said that nothing will jeopardize the ceasefire in Gaza. However, he also said that Israel should retaliate if its soldiers were killed.
On the other hand, Gaza’s Hamas-run civil defense agency said Israel carried out airstrikes on Tuesday despite the ongoing ceasefire. At the same time, the Israeli army accused Hamas of attacking its soldiers and violating the ceasefire brokered by America.
“They killed an Israeli soldier. So Israel retaliated. And they should retaliate,” Trump told media on Air Force One.
Let us tell you, the families of Israeli hostages have demanded on Monday that the next steps in the US-mediated Gaza peace plan be stopped until Hamas returns the remaining bodies of the Israeli hostages.
Under the peace plan, Hamas was to hand over Israeli hostages and bodies. However, Hamas still has the bodies of several Israeli hostages.
The families of the hostages and the missing said, “Hamas knows exactly where all the dead hostages are being held. Two weeks have passed since the deadline set in the agreement for the return of all 48 hostages, 13 hostages are still in Hamas captivity.”
The main organization representing the hostages’ families said, “The families urge the Israeli government, the US administration, and mediators not to proceed to the next phase of a settlement until Hamas meets all of its obligations and returns all hostages to Israel.”
Let us tell you, before the ceasefire, the terrorist group was keeping the bodies of 28 dead hostages with itself. Under Trump’s peace plan, Hamas has so far returned 15 hostages as well as all 20 surviving hostages. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a cowardly attack on Israel and took 251 people hostage.
