New Delhi. The central government said on Thursday that adequate stock of petrol and diesel is available at all petrol pumps in the country. There has been no change in the retail prices of petrol and diesel and prices have also not been increased at the sales centers of government oil marketing companies. In its daily briefing, the Petroleum Ministry said, “In view of the current situation, there is an appeal to all citizens to try to save energy in everyday life.” “People should not make panic purchases of petrol, diesel and cooking gas as the government is making every possible effort to ensure their availability. Avoid rumors and rely only on government sources for correct information,” the official said.
