Chhattisgarh CM Sai: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed happiness over the success of the anti -Naxal campaign in the state, saying that this is a decisive step towards the elimination of Naxalism. He said that a reward of Rs 40-40 lakh was declared on both Naxalites killed in an encounter with security forces in Abujhmad area of Narayanpur district.
The incident took place in the dense forests of Abujhmad bordering Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border, when a team of security forces was running an anti-Naxal campaign. Naxalites suddenly started firing, after which security forces retaliated. The bodies of two Naxalites were recovered in the search operation after the encounter. A large quantity of illegal weapons have also been seized from them.
Decisive step towards peace and development
Chief Minister Sai described this success as a speeding process of peace and development in Chhattisgarh. He said that this action is not only the result of the bravery and dedication of the security forces, but it is also a proof that the state is now moving fast on the path of development.
He congratulated all the security personnel involved in this campaign. The Chief Minister said that the end of Naxalism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is now looking more close and definite than ever. He expressed confidence that by March 2026, the resolution of Naxal -free India will definitely be fulfilled.
This incident shows that security forces are constantly under pressure against Naxalism and are expected to succeed in such campaigns in future also.
