Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab will also provide free darshan of Salasar-Khatu Shyam Ji, Haridwar-Trishikesh and Mathura-Vrindavan. Till now Bhagwant Mann Sarkar was providing darshan only to Darbar Sahib-Durgiana Temple and Balmiki Temple and Anandpur Sahib-Naina Devi Temple. But on the huge demand of the devotees, the government has decided to send the devotees at its own expense to these pilgrimage sites located on three new routes.
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal shared this information during a program organized in Jalandhar on Saturday. On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and other dignitaries were also present.
Arvind Kejriwal said that the Punjab government celebrated the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji with great pomp, respect and honour. Now the 650th Prakash Parv of Guru Ravidas ji is being celebrated. This is also being organized very well.
There is a famous temple of Maa Kali in Patiala. People have great faith and belief in him. People from all over North India come there with their wishes and sorrows, which the Mother Goddess fulfills and removes their sorrows. Complete renovation and development of that temple is being done at a cost of Rs 85 crore. It will be ready in September. My appeal is that after its construction, the people of Punjab should visit the temple once and have darshan of Maa Kali.
Arvind Kejriwal said that the Bhagwant Mann government is also organizing many pilgrimages. For this the government has taken Volvo buses. Currently two routes of pilgrimage are running. On one route, Darbar Sahib-Durgiana Temple and Valmiki Temple are visited. On the second route one can visit Anandpur Sahib and Naina Devi temple. Currently three more routes are being started, which include Salasar-Khatu Shyam Ji, Haridwar-Rishikesh and Mathura-Vrindavan. The government is bearing the entire expense of these pilgrimages. Those who are interested must go.
Arvind Kejriwal said that from the end of July, the government will start chanting ‘Hey Ram!’ in entire Punjab. Making a play. In this play ‘Ram’ by Ashutosh Rana, there are many incidents from Ramayana and many interesting conversations between Ram and Ravana are shown. I also saw this play in Delhi and many people have seen it.
Its ticket used to cost Rs 8,000 in Delhi, but we have made it absolutely free for the people of Punjab. It will be staged several times in different cities across Punjab. When it comes to your city, don’t miss it. This is a wonderful 3.5 hour long play, which will be premiered from the end of July.
