Patna . A Patna court on Saturday granted interim relief to Faisal Khan alias Khan Sir in the firing case. The court ordered that no strict action be taken against Faisal Khan alias Khan Sir till further orders. Due to this direction of the court, the arrest of Khan sir has been put on hold for the time being. Three members of his staff have also been given similar relief; The court has directed that no punitive action be taken against him till the next hearing. During the hearing on Saturday, Patna Police presented the case diary in the court. After reviewing the documents, the court granted interim protection to Khan sir till the next hearing date. Other people associated with Khan sir have also been given protection from strict action. The next hearing of the case will be on June 25.
Khan sir’s lawyer Arvind Kumar Maurya told that the police have submitted the case diary and it has been handed over to the public prosecutor. They have to return the case diary by 23rd June. The final hearing will be held on 25th.
He told that today the hearing was held on the cases of regular bail of two guards and anticipatory bail of Khan sir. Khan sir’s lawyer said that the court has granted protection from arrest till the next hearing and now the matter will be considered further after examining the case diary and other documents kept on record.
Earlier, Khan sir had approached Patna Civil Court for anticipatory bail in connection with the firing incident. In his petition, he denied all the allegations and said that he had no role in the firing incident. It was argued in the petition that the allegations leveled against him are baseless and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
It is noteworthy that after being released from jail, Roshan Anand alleged that an attempt was made to eliminate him. He had accused Khan sir of being involved in a conspiracy against him. Besides this, he also alleged Khan sir’s involvement in the murder of Prince Yadav.
Later Roshan Anand tried to file a complaint against Khan sir. When the case was not registered immediately, they had protested outside the police station.
