Chandigarh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dera Sachkhand Ballan in Punjab on Sunday on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti. There is enthusiasm among BJP leaders and workers of Punjab regarding his arrival. Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar said that paying obeisance to Guru Ravidas ji on the day of presenting the budget shows the PM’s commitment towards the teachings of social equality and removal of discrimination. Sunil Jakhar posted on social media account He further said, “PM Modi’s visit today is a testament to his commitment towards the overall development of Punjab, wherein he gives priority to the welfare and social upliftment of the people and recognizes the inherent goodness in every human being which truly reflects the spirit of ‘Punjabiat’.”
Along with this, he has also shared a poster regarding PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, in which he has written that we often talk about building a strong country: smart cities, fast roads, big industries. But strength does not lie only in concrete structures. It happens even in those lives that thrive in silence.
He further said that on the fringes of our progress there are creatures who did not ask for permission to live, just a place to live. They grow up near our homes, learn our habits, guard our nights, and get lost somewhere behind our comfort. Not because they are not visible, but because we have stopped seeing them.
He further wrote that we search the world for examples of humanity, forgetting that empathy was always within us; We just walked away from it. A country is remembered not just for what it builds, but also for what it leaves behind. Not just for his economy, but for his conscience.
He further wrote that true development is not just expansion. This is to take everyone along. And kindness is not something that we have to bring from outside, we just need to remember.
