New Delhi, February 20 (). Spiritual guru Devkinandan Thakur has started a new and unique initiative to connect the youth of the country with Sanatan Dharma. He has planned to connect the interest of youth with religion by using popular sports like cricket as the medium.
Devkinandan Thakur is going to organize a cricket tournament. While talking to news agency , he said, “The preparations for the cricket tournament are going on tremendously. You can see the trophy, you can see the enthusiasm of the youth. The enthusiasm that our children are showing even in the trials is amazing. About 10 to 15 thousand children have registered to participate in the tournament, out of which only 125 will be selected. Just think…”
He said, “Therefore, it is our request that the values that have to be imparted to those children should be through the saints and mahatmas; they should be freed from drug addiction through the saints and mahatmas; and the same children should also serve their parents and sisters who are victims of acid attacks, who need some help in education, who are sick and need help in their treatment, then they will also be served on the spot.
He told, “There is Rs 500 for each run in the tournament, and the total money collected during the tournament will be used in the service of the society. This will be a Mahakumbh showcasing the service talent. Sanatanis are requested to come to Indore to support those children.”
The cricket tournament will be organized in Indore on 12, 13, 14 and 15 March.
The match will be telecast live on TV channel. Attractive prizes have been kept for the winners. He told that the team which becomes the winner in this tournament will be given a prize money of Rs 31 lakh, while the runner-up team will get Rs 15 lakh. Apart from this, the Man of the Series will be given a car and the players scoring the most runs and taking the most wickets will be given a bike.
