Moga. There has been a case of threat to bomb three government schools in Moga district of Punjab. As soon as the information was received, there was panic in the school and after some time the school was completely evacuated and the police and administration were informed.


According to the information, threats to bomb Godewala Government School in Moga, Ughoke Government School and Jhandiana Government School have been received on email. After this an atmosphere of panic was created. School Principal Rajesh Kumar Garg, on behalf of the school principal, informed his superiors and the police administration about this. As soon as the information was received, police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and started investigation. With this, the students who had come to school were sent home. Teacher Tejwant Singh Sandhu told that when he came to school as usual and checked his routine work, he saw on the school mail that there was a threat to bomb three government schools. After this, the atmosphere in the school became tense and children were sent home without informing them. Due to threat, the paper of class 9 students has been cancelled.
At the same time, a threat to bomb many private schools in Jalandhar was also received on Monday morning. The threatening email sent to the school management warned of targeting some schools, Delhi-bound trains, the Assembly and the statues of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. After receiving the email, the concerned schools immediately informed the police. Jalandhar Police teams reached several schools as a precautionary measure and started checking the premises. Officials said that considering the seriousness of the matter, cyber cell has also been activated and efforts are being made to identify the sender of the email.
